I'm picky about a lot of things, but there's nothing I'm more particular about than shoes. You wouldn't know it from the 50 pairs of heels, boots, sneakers, and sandals that are currently stacked in my closet (and elsewhere), but I have a tendency to nitpick a seemingly perfect pair until I don't want it anymore—that is, unless the shoes actually are perfect. So I was shocked when I found so many styles at Mango—somewhere I rarely shop for shoes—that checked off every one of my boxes. Normally, I'll see a pair in one of the brand's two NYC stores, eye them for a moment, and then walk away. This time, walking away wasn't even an option. All this is to say that Mango has clearly leveled up in the shoe department.
