I wouldn't classify myself as a fitness person. I don't wake up every morning and run to the gym or have to get a workout in daily. Working out in the traditional sense has just never really been my thing. I spent years as a dancer and usually gravitate toward a dance class when I want a really good workout, but over the past few months, I have become a huge fan of Pilates and one-on-one training at ALO's New York City wellness club, which is now part of my weekly routine. While I may not be a fitness guru, taking care of myself is a high priority for me, so finding a workout that suits me and my schedule is key.

When heading to a workout class, I don't let my sense of style take a back seat. I have a thing for being the best-dressed person in the room, even if that room is a Pilates studio. Since finding a new workout that I love, I have tried tons of activewear brands and styles of sports bras, leggings, one-pieces, and workout dresses. I wouldn't call myself an activewear expert, but I know a thing or two. Ahead, I've rounded up activewear items that I have in my workout closet that I swear by, along with some new ones I can't wait to try.

Keep scrolling to see the 30 activewear items that are in my cart as we speak.
