First Look: See Emma Watson's Beauty and the Beast Costumes

The countdown is on: The new Beauty and the Beast movie starring Emma Watson is set to be released in March 2017. Can't wait until then? Luckily we have something amazing to help tide you over. Entertainment Weekly has just released exclusive new photos of Watson's portrayal of Belle, and we can't contain our excitement.

We finally get an up-close look at her iconic yellow gown, as well as her blue and white apron outfit, and it's safe to say that the costumes more than live up to expectations. The images also feature Dan Stevens (who you may know from Downton Abbey) as Beast and Luke Evans as Gaston.

“I can’t even think how many times I watched it as a child,” Watson told Entertainment Weekly. “I knew all the words by heart. I knew all the songs by heart.” If that sounds familiar, you better circle the March 17, 2017, premiere date on your calendar pronto.

Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
